Dr. Valerie has been living in Thailand for some 18 years and has found Thailand to be her second home. During her time living in Thailand, Dr Valerie has involved with several activities:

• The first King Power Diplomatic & Corporate Ambassador 2006/2007
• Member of BCCT Professional Women?s Group 2006/2007
• Member of the AustCham Thailand (Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce)
• Only ?Foreign? spokesperson for Asian Games, Thailand in 1998
• Chairman of National Tourist Offices Council of Thailand for a period of 2 years 1996- 1998
• Committee Member of the AustCham Thailand (Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce) in 1994

Dr. Valerie holds PHD in Psychology as well as a MBA in International Business, a BA in Marketing and Communication and a Diploma of Education.

She has worked over many years in both the Commerce and Media throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.

Besides being an Anchor and Lead Presenter of Morning Talk TV program, she is Managing Director of the boutique Marketing Communications Company called Thana Burin Asia Pacific Ltd providing public relations and marketing communications services to several leading organizations based in Thailand.

Dr. Valerie has particular interests in reading, photography, travel, and is an avid collector of Asian antiques and frogs from around the world, as well as helps youngsters to develop their lives through education.
